Mining Leaders Group is a next generation mining services firm.
We help build the capabilities to transition to the future. This means working with our partners to define and develop new operating models, creating and adopting new technology and building the services and leadership capabilities to successfully navigate and implement transformational change.
We work with mining companies, METS, industry bodies, governments, entrepreneurs, research and education organisations and businesses that intersect with the global resources sector.
Brett is the Managing Director of the Mining Leaders Group and holds an Industry Fellow position with the Sustainable Minerals Institute at The University of Queensland. Brett works with a range of executive teams and high potential leaders in mining companies, METS and industry bodies in Australia, South America, Asia and Africa focused on driving individual, team and organisational performance. He was formerly the General Manager of the Technology and Knowledge Transfer Groups at JKTech responsible for the transfer of leading edge research into practical applications of technology and knowledge onto mine sites around the world. Brett believes passionately about integrating people and technology to solve complex mining challenges.
Prior to Joining JKTech, he was the Deputy Director – Operations at the Sustainable Minerals Institute. Brett has delivered MBA and executive programs to FTSE and FORTUNE 500 companies, developing participants from over 130 countries across all sectors including the minerals industry. Formerly from the London Business School and Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) based in Hong Kong, he is experienced in working with governments and companies from both emerging and developed markets.
Brett’s education includes a BA from Griffith University and an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Dominic is a qualified Minerals Process Engineer with ten years’ practical experience working for organisations such as: Xstrata, First Quantum Minerals Limited, JKTech, Glencore and Rio Tinto. Throughout this time Dominic has held a variety of management, strategic, consulting, commissioning, project and plant roles throughout Australia, Central and South-East Asia and Africa. These unique experiences have given him an in-depth understanding of different political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, legal and ecological environments that allow him to effectively unlock the potential of an organization by bringing together business, people and technology to drive sustainable performance improvements and cultural change.
Dominic's education includes a BEng from The University of Queensland and he is progressing through an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Rosemary has over 30 years' experience in executive leadership with a focus on technology, business and government. Leveraging this extensive experience, she facilitates programs designed to develop leaders and deliver commercial outcomes. Rosemary coaches high potential managers and executives and helps capacity build in strategy and capability development.
Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Science, a Masters of Science and Society and a Diploma of Management. She has been awarded an Australian Government Centenary and is an Eisenhower fellow.

Before establishing her own firm in 2007, Kate was Partner - Intellectual Capital for a global professional services firm. Kate received her PhD in 2000 (Queensland University of Technology) for research in knowledge management and organisational learning in a bio-medical research consortium. She has led post-graduate and executive education programs in knowledge and intellectual capital development in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India and New Zealand.
She has a special interest in improving knowledge impact in project-based organisations and has taught in this field in QUT’s Executive Masters for Complex Project Management for several years.
